Family Member and Guest Spring Preview
We offer specially designed Spring Preview Orientation sessions for family members and guests. Spring Preview is a one day program that provides a vital introduction to the Colorado State community and we strongly encourage you and your student to reserve and attend a session.
There is a $30 orientation charge for each person attending Spring Preview.
Orientation is about giving students and families the opportunity to learn more about Colorado State University! During Spring Preview, you will:
- Meet with an academic advisor
- Learn more about academics and student involvement at CSU
- Families will learn about how to support your student's growth and development as a college student
- Connect with faculty and staff at CSU

Students and their families who have attended Spring Preview have repeatedly told our staff that coming to Spring Preview made the first year at Colorado State University much easier—students knew what to expect and where to go for assistance. Students also report feeling more comfortable in the Colorado State University community and making connections with other students, faculty, and administrators. Families felt more connected and knowledgeable about resources and how to successfully navigate through this time of transition.
