Academic Advising

Academic advising is mandatory for all incoming students. Advising is designed to help you understand degree and graduation requirements, plan your academic goals, and assist you with university policies and procedures. Please look at each link below to familiarize yourself with advising at CSU.

What is important to remember after I have registered for courses?

Be sure to use your academic adviser since he or she:

  • Helps you select your courses
  • Spends time listening to your concerns, ideas and goals
  • Shares information that will help you get the most out of the University
  • Cares about YOU

If you are confused or unsatisfied with your fall semester course schedule, feel free to contact the academic adviser in your major who is assigned to you.
