There are many more choices in college with
76 majors and thousands of courses offered each semester
You will need to take more responsibility than
you may have in the past in understanding the academic requirements,
University policies, and procedures.
Since you choose your major, a lot more time
and energy will be invested in determining and/or refining your
academic and career goals
Because of vast amount of choices and the complexity of the University, it is essential that you
work closely with your academic adviser.
